About

The event "Kant and His Critics" took place from April 28-30, 2017, at the Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg, Germany. It was the VIIth Multilateral Kant Colloquium, organized by the Immanuel-Kant-Forum (IKF) in collaboration with the Kant Society and the Research Focus "Enlightenment–Religion–Knowledge" (ARW). The event brought together scholars to explore critical perspectives on Kant's philosophy, addressing both historical and systematic critiques.

Notable contributors and organizers of the colloquium included Antonino Falduto and Heiner Klemme, who later edited a volume, "Kant und seine Kritiker", based on the presentations delivered during this event. This collection aimed to fill significant gaps in understanding how Kant's philosophy evolved in response to critiques during his time and in subsequent centuries.
